	Macario Sakay Born in Tondo, Manila, in 1870 He's been active in the Philippine revolution as well as in the Philippine-American war. He became the leader of the 'Republic of Katagalugan' in 1902, a revolutionary organisation that wanted to bring the spirit of the Katipunan back to life.
